On November 8, 2017, KBI took part in a roundtable discussion hosted by The Portable Rechargeable Battery Association ("PRBA"). KBI's Director of Environmental Affairs, Paul Johnson, offered an overview pertaining to li-ion battery collection, transportation and recycling. The roundtable occurred at the offices of Wiley Rein in Washington, D.C., and was attended by various industry representatives as well as Kathy Lett and Lia Yohannes with the EPA's Materials Recovery and Waste Management Division.
