On November 6, 2017, KBI participated as a panelist and speaker at the Cal EPA Public Workshop on Lead-Acid Batteries and Alternatives. KBI's Executive Vice President, Todd Coy, was asked to offer details on the current state of lithium battery recycling in North America and also get involved in discussions emphasised on the complexities of lithium battery management in California.
